“Our intranet was software written specifically for us, at a time before our company had a ‘growth spurt’ and we outran that software pretty quickly,” Jim said.

We got a chance to speak to Jim about the difference between CyberScout’s old intranet that he described as ‘archaic’, and the flexibility of managing a LiveTiles page.

CyberScout used LiveTiles’ ‘drag and drop’ features and user-friendly interface over SharePoint to build an adaptable and engaging custom intranet that will never go out of date.

The adaptability and flexibility of LiveTiles has allowed CyberScout to utilize SharePoint in a way they never had before.
“I’d used SharePoint before and it was just file storage and an area where different divisions would just dump their files,” Jim said.
“Our number one concern was ‘how is our intranet going to interact with our users’ and ‘is SharePoint truly easier than it used to be with LiveTiles’.”
